DLLE was established on 12th October, 1978 by University of Mumbai and it has been recognized as a statutory department of the university since 1994 to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the universities and the community.  There are several programs recommended by the university DLLE like Career Project (CP), Annapurna Yojana (AY), Status of Women (SWS) etc.

In the past the college worked on Population Education Club (PEC) project in which eight programs were arranged in the college and the community level each.  At present our college conducts Survey Of Women Status (SWS) project and Career Project(CP).  Students under this project conduct education, economical and political survey of women of the catchment area.

Activities 2013-14:

  1. Orientation of students by Dr.V.B. Mishra (Regional Co-ordinator) in two semesters.
  2. The survey on economic, social and educational status of women’s in Murbad Tehsil has been successfully conducted under SWS scheme by 147 students,  data of 3500 women’s was gathered.
  3. Under Career Project(CP) 28 students participated.
  4. Participation of all the students in Inter-collegiate UDDAN Festival of the University on 20th January, 2014 held at NKT College Thane.

Achievments:

  1. Ashwini Bhoir got First prize in poster competition in UDDAN Festival.
  2. Consolation prize in Street Play in UDDAN Festival.

Activities 2014-15:

    1. Orientation of students by Dr.V.B. Mishra (Regional Co-ordinator) in two semesters.
    2. The survey on economic, social and educational status of women’s in Murbad Tehsil has been successfully conducted under SWS scheme, under which 163 students were participated and data of 6500 women’s was gathered.
    3. Participation of all the students in Inter-collegiate UDDAN Festival of the University on 19th January, 2015 held at CHM College Ulhasnagar.

Achievments:

    1. Our students bagged Second Prize in Street Play and Poster Competition in UDDAN Festival.

Activities 2015-16:

    1. Orientation of students by Dr.V.B. Mishra (Regional Co-ordinator) in two semesters.
    2. The survey on economic, social and educational status of women’s in Murbad Tehsil has been successfully conducted under SWS scheme, under which 188 students were participated and data of 8460 women’s was gathered.
    3. Participation of all the students in Inter-collegiate UDDAN Festival of the University on 2nd February, 2016 held at CHM College Ulhasnagar.

Achievments:

    1. Our students bagged Second Prize in Street Play in UDDAN festival.

 

Activities 2016-17:

    1. The survey on economic, social and educational status of women’s in Murbad Tehsil has been successfully conducted under SWS scheme, under which 142 students were participated and data of 5040 women’s was gathered.
    2. Participation of all the students in Inter-collegiate UDDAN Festival of the University.

Activities 2017-18:

    1. 147 students participated
    2. Dr. Mishra was invited for the orientation of the students.
    3. Students conducted survey of 5580 women of Murbad Tehsil.
    4. Students participated in Mumbai University ‘Udaan’ Festival on 24th Jan .2018 which was held in  SHACC , Bhiwandi.

Activities 2018-19:

    1. Orientation of students by Dr.V.B. Mishra (Regional Co-ordinator) in two semesters.
    2. The survey on economic, social and educational status of women’s in Murbad Tehsil has been successfully conducted under SWS scheme by 156 students,  data of 4300 women’s was gathered.
    3. Under Career Project(CP) 10 students participated.
    4. Participation of all the students in Inter-collegiate UDDAN Festival of the University on 22 ,23 January, 2019 held at Vedant College of Management and IT, Ulhasnagar.

Achievements:

    1.  First prize in poster competition in UDDAN Festival.
    2. Consolation prize in Street Play in UDDAN Festival.

  • 27 January 2021 “Essay Competition” on subject “National Voter “.
